Sandpiper Cove Unit 8253

Great location, but that bed!! Ugh. I did not realize it was a murphy bed...and so uncomfortable. i had back ache every morning. It creaks badly. I mean every time you move. Apparently some sandpiper units offer free beach chair and umbrellas on beach. We read that this one did. Well, it did not. We spent $100 on chair rental and just decided to buy at walmart the rest of our stay. Had to leave them behind as we flew to Destin. i reached out to host and was told unit 8253 never had free beach chair service. i think they used wording and from another unit for advertising and forgot to take it out. Overall, besides that aweful bed and no chairs...it was nice. Location wins with this one.

The location is great, but eating utensils were dirty, not a lot of pans or things to cook with.Description of listing said one bedroom and a living space. It was a studio. Pictures were misleading and never showed the pull out bed and couch in the same area.Also, the “bed” is a Murphy bed and is the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. It creaks if you move your pinky toe. Even the couch creaked. Anytime someone would move on the couch or bed it woke everyone up. Again, the location is great, but if you don’t want a sore back and neck every day, don’t choose this place. Maybe if they get a better bed and couch.Host was easy to communicate with, but for the price we paid, we expected a comfier bed and couch to sleep in.
